Someone once suggested to me to read my articles out loud . . . Backwards. The reason? When you read your words frontwards, you may be so familiar with them that you skim over small errors. When you read them backwards, errors stick out like a sore thumb! And reading aloud slows you down a bit so you can be more csreful.
