Probably the singular most helpful piece on good writing since I was in college. I, too, believe that ALL writing is telling one way or another, so I've struggled with idea of "show, don't tell." It's a great thing that you understand it and shared examples with us!! Extremely valuable Medium story.

Oh, the advice from the college professor on good non-fiction writing? You have to answer the big "so what?" You don't want the reader to get to the end of your non-fiction piece and ask, "So what?"
