Interesting way to look at the process of writing. I'd say it rings true for me in most cases. I'm not writing on Medium for views (although they're nice to have) or money (I have other sources of that) but to share my "a-ha" moments in the hopes someone else might be able to use them. That's why I almost always write in the first person. I want readers to learn my process and then decide if it could be helpful to them, too. Thanks for sharing this piece. It's given me a lot to ponder!
