I wish that Medium would ban these types of articles altogether.

When I started writing regularly for Medium, I discovered that al professor I one knew from UPenn was writing. He used to be in the Department of Urban Planning and was highly esteemed at the time for his writings on slavery.

I subscribed to his Medium posts and was both surprised and dismayed to see that he had become one of these hucksters for his "writing method." Quite a drop in esteem in my mind even though he had been from an Ivy League university.

By the way, if the pitch for the course or class is more than a few paragraphs long, get out of there immediately. It's a scam! For some unknown reason, scammers on Medium think that writing pages and pages of text will make you so impressed that you'll buy whatever they're selling. Don't fall for it!
