I have insomnia as well as restless leg syndrome. So, I get to sleep while my legs are having spasms. Lucky me, right? I read about, and tried, a magnesium supplement called "Mag R&R." I was looking at it mainly for its ability to calm RLS, but I read that it also helps one sleep. The trick to taking magnesium is to use the most bioavailabe form. If it's not very bIavailable, you'll have loose stools. That's why magnesium can be used for constipation. MagR&R doesn’t give me the scoots, so my body is absorbing it! The given dosage is 3 capsules per day, but I started at 1, and then 2, capsules. It's working well both for my insomnia AND my RLS, so I'm a happy camper. I plan to go to 3 copsules--maybe tonight--because I have a little breakthrough RLS. I'll let you know how that goes.
