I came to this article by way of a Facebook comment by Lisa Wathen regarding a Medium post written by Julia E Hubbel. Now if that isn’t roundabout, I don’t know what is! I liked your sharing, Lisa, and it made me think of two things:

  1. I remember thinking to myself, while riding the bus to work in Philly, of what a dork I felt I looked like and simultaneously that I was just too tired to care. Tired of the expectations I packed on myself based on society’s demands, media advertising, etc.
  2. Don’t should on yourself, no matter your age. It isn’t nice :-)
