I cae across this behavior once with an old high school friend. He dominated the conversation of our entire first date, mansplaining many things to me (like I didn’t already know).

In the lobby of my apartment building, he asked if he could see me again.

I replied, “That depends on whether or not I can get a word in edgewise next time.”

We’re not together now, but the behavior never happened again :-)
